Bridgewater Community – End-of-Year Update

As we wrap up 2025, we wanted to share a few updates and highlights from around the neighborhood.

Board Updates
This year we welcomed two new board members, Susan Miller and Eric Woody. We extend our sincere thanks to both of them for their time, energy, and contributions. I also want to recognize the continued hard work of our returning members, Christine Sebold and Brittany Bennett. Your dedication to the community is truly appreciated!

Looking Ahead to 2026
After careful consideration, the board has once again made the difficult decision to keep annual dues flat for 2026. While this continues to create financial challenges, we remain proud of the creativity and diligence put into managing the budget responsibly during some difficult times.

Community Improvements
As we close out the year, we wanted to give you a quick update on several enhancement projects that have been completed over the last 60 days throughout Bridgewater:

  • The common space to the right of the pool entrance has been newly seeded, and ornamental grasses will be added in the spring around the utility box to improve the area’s appearance.
  • Five additional trees damaged during the 2024 hurricane were safely removed.
  • The pool filtration system underwent a complete overhaul immediately after the season ended—ensuring clean, clear water for the 2026 season and beyond.

Playground Update
We entered 2025 with an ambitious list of community upgrades, and while many were completed, a few projects were delayed due to various unforeseen factors. The most significant of these is the playground installation planned for the common space behind the pool building.

Although we were unable to complete the project this year, we remain fully committed to installing the new playset in Spring 2026. The design has been selected, the installation area has been finalized, and the budget is already allocated. Now we just need a few volunteers and some cooperative weather to bring this long-awaited addition to life.

What’s Next?
We are currently finalizing the list of 2026 community upgrades and look forward to sharing those details with all residents early next year.

Wishing all of Bridgewater a warm, joyful, and relaxing holiday season. We look forward to another year of growth, improvements, and community togetherness!
