Our New Playground Is Officially Open!

After a long journey, we’re excited to announce that the Bridgewater playground is finally complete and ready for our neighborhood families to enjoy!

This project would not have been possible without the time and effort of several wonderful volunteers and community partners.

A very special thank-you goes to Jonathan Albright and Jenn Albright, who devoted countless hours to assembling and completing the playground. Their hard work and commitment played a tremendous role in bringing this long-awaited neighborhood amenity to life.

The board would also like to thank Erik Peterson and his company, Legacy Jewelers and Estate Buyers in Simpsonville, for generously donating two picnic tables for the playground area.

Finally, thank you to Board Member Susan Lancaster Miller for coordinating multiple deliveries, resolving issues with missing parts, and helping keep the project moving forward despite numerous delays.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed to making this project a reality!

Pool Season Update

The repairs associated with the water-line break earlier this year are now complete. All necessary restoration work in the bathrooms and pump room has been finished.

There are only 35 days remaining in the 2026 pool season! The pool’s final day of operation will be Sunday, September 27.

Thank you to everyone for helping keep the pool area clean, respecting the community equipment, and making this another enjoyable season for Bridgewater residents.

Fall Events and Community Projects

The Social Committee is currently planning an official Bridgewater Community Yard Sale for September. We’ll share the date and additional details as soon as everything is finalized. The committee also has several other activities in the works, so be on the lookout for more announcements!

The Board is also working toward permanent repairs to the retention pond gates. These improvements are intended to better secure the area while also improving the gates’ overall appearance.

Please Slow Down

We continue to receive reports—and personally observe—vehicles traveling at excessive speeds throughout the neighborhood.

Bridgewater is home to children playing, families walking, neighbors exercising, and residents walking their pets. Please slow down, remain alert, and be especially cautious near intersections, sidewalks, and community amenities.

A few extra seconds can make all the difference. Let’s work together to keep Bridgewater safe for everyone!
