Parking
Please be mindful and courteous in choosing parking spots, and allow for ample clearance for our homeowners and emergency vehicles to travel through our subdivision without issue. Vehicles parked for longer than 48 hours in the pool parking lot are subject to ticketing and towing. Please contact the board for additional time. No commercial vehicles should be parked without permission in the pool parking lot at any given time.
Garbage
Please remember to bring in your garbage cans after your designated garbage pickup day. Keep all trash cans out of sight on non-trash days. If your trash cans are stored in your driveway or are otherwise visible from the street, it is an HOA Violation. Trash cans and recycling cans should be set out no earlier than the night before pickup and removed and stored out of sight from the street, no later than the end of the day your garbage is picked up.
Dog Droppings
Bridgewater loves our dogs, but hate the poo. Pick up after your pooch! Un-scooped pet waste is a source of water pollution and is a public health concern. Please be courteous when walking your four legged friends and clean up after them.
Slow Down!
Traffic laws are enforceable by Greenville County Sherriff’s Department.
The speed limit on all streets within Bridgewater is 25 mph, and only licensed individuals should operate motor vehicles in Bridgewater. Bridgewater has a large number of children playing and riding bikes throughout the community, please exercise caution when traveling though our neighborhood. Also, always be mindful of those backing out of driveways and walkers in our community .
ARC Reminder
Part of the HOA’s role in the community is to keep the appearance of Bridgewater in step with how the subdivision as a whole has decided to maintain their appearance. Structural changes to the homes in the subdivision are allowed, but members need to follow the guidelines set out in the Bylaws and also need to be approved before any changes take place.
If you would like to make landscaping changes, put up a fence, put an addition on your house, build a shed, etc., you are required to fill out an “Architectural Change Request” form BEFORE YOU HAVE THE WORK DONE and submit it to William Douglas for Approval.
